Advised by Selkie Collection on all strategic aspects of this launch, Apocalypse Studio debuted their most ambitious project to date, The Oversoul, in Marfa, Texas in October 2025. The collection contains 144 1/1 animated portraits that comprise one giant, contiguous animation mosaic. Elements such as lightning, clouds, and grass connect each portrait with its neighbors, representing a community of distinct individuals. (See next slide). Based on a physical acrylic on wood mosaic 10ft tall by 15ft wide, The Oversoul synthesises physical and digital art.

The Oversoul has been in production since 2021. Conceptually inspired by Ralph Waldo Emerson’s 1841 essay of the same name, it is an exploration of the human spirit as that which connects all human beings in a common moral and social fabric.

The collection is the third and final chapter in The InFlux, an epic story told through 333 unique artworks & divided into three chapters:The Origins, The Ordeal, and The Oversoul. Each piece carries its own lore, yet they all fit into a larger narrative we call "The Vertical War" — a conflict between light and dark forces playing out in human evolution and our current age.

Each Oversoul portrait mints at 1.69 ETH. So far, collectors include: BatsoupYum (x3), KJtique (x2), Arsonic (x2), Mysterio (x2), Norcal, Animated, MoDA, Snowfro, Norcal & Klutch (joint collection).

The Studio

The Apocalypse Studio includes Iren, Apocalypse’s eldest daughter, as executive co-producer. His younger daughter, Farranika, serves as production assistant.

Since entering the cryptoart scene in 2021, Apocalypse has shown all over the globe. The studio’s primary medium, looping animations based on physical paintings, builds on historical tradition while adding movement to the static medium with apps, code, and cryptography.
